Dancing the Happy Dance

I received wonderful news last week - an art gallery in Durban has offered to exhibit some of my fabric landscapes and fabric postcards as part of the 8th Annual Affordable Art Show at the Artspace Gallery in Durban.. I am so excited that I can' find the words to describe it. In a funny kind of way, this is a nice counter to feeling my work is not quite good enough!

Here are some photos of the work that is being exhibited:

Leigh Ann, these are wonderful pieces, and your have presented them in an attractive way. I love to make these 4x6 pieces, too, and often mail to special people, hoping they will mount or frame to keep!

I love your colors and they are very well done pieces. Mounting them gives them an aura of worthy art pieces. Congratulations and I hope your endeavor is most successful.

Kudos on your gallery representation. Matting them that way gives them an extra air of importance. They are lovely! I hope you sell them all.

FABULOUS! Quite an honor and hopefully a prediction of things to come. Hope some 'red dots' start showing up real soon.

Congratulations! I do like your style. I'm getting familiar with making small pieces. I'm involved in a group threadpainting postcard swap. I have always worked "large" before, but this PC swap has been fun and a great learning experience. I hope you keep posting more of your art and let us know on QA list when you do.
